The adventure does have good encounters in it, but I find that a lot of the ideas are good inspiration for the DM but not so good in actual play.

Also within the building are a number of extraplanar creatures, collectively known as gingwatzim, who can shift between various forms: There are a total of 18 encounter areas split over 2 levels, the intention being that the first tournament session comprises the first 9 rooms on the lower level, and the second osland starts when they have found the upper level, and are trying to locate the exit.
The teleporters also have issues; may have to do with outdated scripting. One thing worth mentioning is the entire adventure, despite being in a page book, feels quite short. Unfortunately, they get shipwrecked on the island and lose most of their supplies.
His work on the game, Paranoiais influential and well-regarded, and he was the lead designer on both Morrowind and Obliviontitles in the Elder Scrolls series. Most of the locations fit the theme quite well, with the lower level being living quarters, a lst, a dining room, guest rooms, and some ‘entertainment’ areas, and the upper level being mainly laboratories, a library, workshops, etc. The doors are consistent in how they work, so a group can eventually make a map of which door links to which room, but it will likely cause a lot of confusion in the beginning, but eventually the group will be able to map the dungeon.
The characters are encouraged by a young scholarly mage to voyage into the Sea of Pastures, to explore a mysterious island connected with a number of recent shipwrecks and disappearances. On passing through the entrance they find themselves in a clean, tidy Living Room – meticulously so, as a small metal Cleaning Golem beetles back and forth zapping dirt with its disintegration ray.

The cover of the module, with art by Jeff Easley. Many of the groups you should be able to talk around are ‘encounters’ with no dialogue. The biggest offender here are the gingwatzim, creatures from the ethereal plane that Castanamir was experimenting with, where quite an interesting concept is undermined by the silly naming conventions Rolston used.
Most of these rooms have been ransacked by a variety of other survivors, human and monstrous. Dragonlance deities Forgotten Realms deities Greyhawk deities.

The Keep of Shadowfell and Thunderspire Labrynth. He believes it to be the home of Castanamir who vanished years ago. After my lambasting of the idea of ‘punishing a 1 in combat’, I guess its time to take a look a system that I believed handled fumbl Keep on the Borderlands NWN2 edition.
His island also vanished, but a few years ago it appeared again and a local wizard has hired the party to investigate and loot the place. It was a very interesting module, but I can see I was not the only one who thought this module was somewhat confusing, but it seems that was the intent. C3 is unusual in a sense as it is a low level tournament module.
