I would recommend this book it makes readers want to keep reading and find out how the next event happens. Plus, a good reminder and awareness message for all perspectives.
Yes, this may be real life for some, but I hope it isn’t real life for my kids. But it was not just because it’s a realistic portrayal of abusive relationships that made me rate this book 5 stars. I can see that she is trying to get the message out there that says you are in control of bj own actions and feelings. After all the difficulties their is some sort of ending that results in a happy, fresh start to the fpinn year. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
I don’t think I ever once felt the spirit while reading this.
Breathing Underwater (Breathing Underwater, #1) by Alex Flinn
Out of all the protagonists I’ve read about, he is probably one of the most detestable. Gross, was much cooler. Nick encounters many obstacles along the way. Through the use of the journal to observe exactly how he is, and interacting and observing with his peers both from school and anger management classes, Nick is finally able to see where he has gone wrong and how he can make things right.
The story is Nicks journal about him and Caitlyn and his struggles. I later learned that my mom tossed it out when she was cleaning my drawers. The only place where this book failed was it felt a little too impersonal. This was an exquisite book.
I guess I must breathiny nodded or something because, from that point on, every poem I ever wrote in school was submitted to Highlights or Cricket magazine. The Search for TK.

Look for Divathe sequel to Breathing Underwater. I loved watching the main aled Nick transform and learn the source of his fire. Their relationship was complicated as Caitlyn wanted a restraining order.
I look at the wall, my attention suddenly riveted by a palmetto bug, feelers writhing. Breathing Underwater is a staple in my clasroom. The book shares how a temper out of control demands self-awareness as results burn down around Nick as he missed Caitlyn. This novel was a heartbreaking, insightful read for me, and I couldn’t put it down, to be honest.
Nice, quick read; I did it in one sitting.
I’m quite sure there are plenty breatihng books like this, maybe even written better, however. Spirituality and the Twelve Steps. My family moved to Miami when I was in middle school.
One of which is trying to get Caitlin back because he still loves her. I throw them into breaghing yellow, plastic basket and walk through again. Obviously, the book was written especially for today’s teens and therefore is much more appealing to that age group and less appealing to adults.
