I’m not someone who thinks amandw is the complete end of the world if I get spoiled, I got spoiled for my favourite book ever after all. Loki drives the getaway car for the two Vittra who tried to capture Wendy. It’s definitely an original and unique concept, world and story and I would probably recommend this. In my opinion, this is yet another book jumping on the “Twilight” bandwagon.

The night before he has to leave the settlement, he spends snuggling in bed with her—snuggling is all they do. Even before all of the fame, I loved this book.

Their love is not a healthy one. A more formal and better xD review of this is available on my blog. The Trylle are actually a unique take on troll mythology. Want to Read Currently Reading Read. I absolutely trillogy Amanda Hocking, and I had originally bought this series but let a family member borrow it.

As a people, they live in tribes and are presided over by a monarchy. All they did was add in some clips from …more No, it isn’t different from the original series. When the children reach adulthood, Trylle trackers retrieve them and bring them back to the community, hopefully with a hefty trust-fund bestowed on them by their human host-parents.

This is a funny little paranormal romance about a girl whose mother hates her and thinks she’s a changeling — but she is. Then she gets attacked by a rival band of Trylle, called the Vittra, and realizes she endangers her human family if she stays… Content Advisory Violence: She didn’t spend a second to think about them, she never lost sleep thinking of them, she didn’t try to contact them, plus said brother and aunt were barely in her thoughts as far as I can see.

But, I am and still remain a Finn fan – all the way, I cheered the two of them on, only to be disappointed in the end Tove is becoming one of my favorite characters, and so are Willa, Matt and Rhys! She’s an okay character and she doesn’t annoy me, but I think she needs some development. Torn between her heart and her people, between love and duty, Wendy must decide her fate.

When Finn, a Trylle tracker, shows up to take Wendy back to her real family, she leans that she is a troll. So, I really didn’t like Switched. I can’t decide if I like Wendy or not – but honestly, I was rooting for her in this book.

Switched (Trylle #1) by Amanda Hocking

I’ve never read a YA novel before that had such strong vocabulary written in it. Plus after all the craps Elora and almost everyone else had dumped on her, after seeing firsthand how unjust and suffocating the Trylle’s lifestyle is, it takes Finn’s departure to boost Wendy into deciding her life as a Trylle was miserable and she wanted to escape?

But this is not to say the doesn’t have potential.

It made me feel exited all the way along. No gorier than the average Rick Riordan book. It felt like Hocking was tired of writing or had finished her word count for the day and decided to cut it short. I hated this trilogy. I also suspect that I am a troll due to the hair thing, but I haven’t found any proof yet. Tove was good too and that’s pretty much all I can say about every other character too.

First off, Switched is really gorgeous.
